I finally picked up the GAL Big Red Books. What a treasure trove of information. So much it's almost overwhelming.

What are your favorite articles? Is there any that really changed your practice or the way you approached things?

I don't have any of them, but I think some of the stuff I wrote back in the 70's might be in them. The first one was about a big mistake I made. Probably shouldn't have written that one....

The articles on Charles Fox and Eugene Clark have been the most helpful to me, but there are many good articles strewn throughout.

I like the Jeff Elliott article in American Lutherie where he explains how he voices his guitars. It is a long, in depth article that is articulate and full of great info. I forget the issue # but it is worth finding the article.

My favorites were Eugene Clark's articles on making rosettes. Although don't use exactly the same method, his articles gave me a lot of insight into the process.
